Youth Sports

 The YMCA offers a wide variety opportunities for kids to participate in sports. All YMCA Youth Sports follow the philosophy that every kid deserves the chance to play and have fun! YMCA Youth Sports are designed to teach specific skills of the sport, introduce the idea of teamwork, teaching sportsmanship, demonstrating positive values, getting parents involved and for everyone to experience the joy of playing!

Youth Basketball (March 4 to April 25):
Oahe Family YMCA Youth Basketball is a co-ed program driven by dedicated volunteers, committed to imparting fundamental skills to young participants. Focused on fostering a love for the game, this initiative provides a supportive environment for kids to learn, grow, and thrive. The program aims to instill a passion for basketball while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among youth in our community with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.

Spring Flag Football (Mondays and Thursdays, May 6 to May 30)
Join the Oahe Family YMCA as we revamp our Flag Football program, inspired by the success of our Tackle Football tradition. We're calling on enthusiastic volunteers to coach and make this season a hit. Whether you're a seasoned player or just passionate about football, come be a part of the action and help us create an inclusive and fun-filled experience for our community. Lace up, get involved, and let's make memories on the field together!

Spring Preschool Soccer (May 7, 14, and 21)
This is an introduction to the basic skills of soccer for boys and girls ages 4-6 in preschool.
Registration Begins: Feb. 26

Youth Volleyball
Open to boys and girls in 3rd - 6th grade. Volleyball at the Y emphasizes teamwork and teaches the fundamentals of the game.
