At Oahe Family YMCA, our preschool and kindergarten programs teach sports basics through fun play. Kids explore basketball, soccer, and more, learning teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive environment. Join us for early sports education that's both educational and fun!

Junior Dribblers: Preschool to Kindergarten
Welcome to the YMCA Junior Basketball program, where kids learn the fundamentals of basketball through engaging play and skill-building activities. Designed for children eager to learn and have fun on the court, our program emphasizes exploration and fun.
Parents play a crucial role in our program by volunteering, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable environment for their children. Together, we create lasting memories and foster a love for the game of basketball.
At the end of the program, each child receives a basketball to continue practicing their skills at home. Additionally, program shirts are available for purchase at $20 each.
Registration: September 27 to October 23, in person.
Where: Oahe Family YMCA, Original Gym.
When: Mondays, 6:30 - 7:15 PM, October 28 - November 11.
Parents will be invited to join the Remind App for any program notifications.
Little Kickers: Preschool to Kindergarten
Welcome to the YMCA Junior Soccer program, where kids discover the joy of soccer while learning fundamental skills through interactive play and structured drills. Our program is designed to introduce children to the basics of soccer in a fun and supportive environment.
Parents are encouraged to get involved by volunteering, ensuring that every child receives the attention and encouragement they need to succeed on the field. Together, we create a positive atmosphere where teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development are prioritized.
At the end of the season, each participant receives a soccer ball to continue practicing their newfound skills at home. Program shirts are also available for purchase at $20 each.
