Membership Fees
As a YMCA member, you have unlimited access to our full range of facilities, including basketball courts, an indoor track, two weight rooms, two aerobic studios, the YMCA pool, the Pierre Aquatic Center pool, saunas, showers, locker rooms, the Kid Center playroom, racquetball courts, and a cardio area featuring treadmills, bikes, cross-trainers, and steppers. In addition, you'll enjoy discounted rates on a wide variety of programs, with priority registration for all offerings each session. Best of all, all water and land group fitness classes are included in your membership!

State Employee Discount - 10% Off - must have State ID and it must me deducted from your paycheck. Click here for deduction form.
Veteran Discount - 10% OFF - must have ID.
Military Discount - 50% OFF - must have ID.
Volunteer Firefighters (Pierre & Ft. Pierre) Discount - 50% OFF - must show proof.

Avera Employees with Avera Insurance
If you are an Avera employee with Avera Insurance and Fill out paperwork you can get $20.00, put back onto your account if you check in 8 times a month at our facility. Starting Jan 1st,2025 if your spouse has Avera insurance also, they can fill out paperwork and if they attend 8 times in the month you get another $20.00 put back onto your account. Requirements are:
- Work for Avera and have Avera Insurance
- For spouse to participate they have to have Avera Insurance

Corporate Membership
Businesses may receive a discount for their employees by sending in the employee's membership dues in one lump sum. A 10% discount is given if the business sends the dues once a month. A 15% discount is given if the business sends the dues once a year. Must have at least five employees participating to qualify. Call Tracy at 224-1683 for more information.
Financial Assistance
The Y believes that everyone should have the opportunity to reach their goals, regardless of financial circumstances. We do not turn anyone away due to an inability to pay. Through our Y Partners Fund, we offer scholarships and sliding fee scales for those who qualify. Visit the front desk to complete a financial assistance application, or download the form here.
