Meet Our Care Team
Anne Rasmussen
A proud T.F. Riggs High School alumnus, Anne Rasmussen brings over 24 years of experience in childcare and special needs education. Her passion for teaching youth shines through in everything she does. Anne holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential focused on ages 3–5 and has been CPR and First Aid certified since she was 18. She continues to expand her expertise by taking annual courses in childcare and youth development. Outside the classroom, Anne enjoys crafting and has been actively involved in dog rescue for more than a decade.
Trey Owens
Trey Owens has nearly a decade of experience working with children ages 3–18. A Pierre native and 2009 high school graduate, Trey studied Horticulture at SDSU and holds a technical certification in Video Game Development. At the YMCA, Trey brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love for mentoring youth. In his free time, he enjoys video games, jigsaw puzzles, and walks with his dog Finley. He also shares his home with two cats—PK and Sirius—and cherishes time spent with his nieces and nephews. Trey is excited to be a positive role model and makes a lasting impact on every child he meets.
Tristian Harmon
With over 10 years of childcare experience, Tristian Harmon has been teaching preschool in the Pierre/Ft. Pierre area since 2023. Her passion for art and science fuels her creative approach to early education. From spelling scavenger hunts to educational music and hands-on art projects, Tristian makes learning fun and engaging. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and running her own home bakery.
