Kiara Smith is a Riggs graduate with a passion for youth development!  Kiara has three years of childcare experience in KidStop, School's Out and Summer Day Camp. Kiara is CPR certified and has taken several childcare, nutrition, and youth development courses.  When not caring for Pierre's youth, Kiara enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

 

 

 

 Shannon Utter, SD Discovery Center Teaching Assistant, has over 30 years of experience in elementary education with a masters degree in curriculum and development from the college of St. Scholastica (Duluth, MN). She works with our community's youngest learners, creating special opportunities for them to engage in science and the world around them, supporting their mind and body, and laying the foundation for growth into well-adjusted, curious adults!
