Member Plus Membership Option- You see it on the YMCA rates sheet, and some people don’t ask because it looks like it costs more money. This option is designed to be a convenience for many, but it can also by a money saver if you and/or your family are active at the “Y”. The Member Plus is your monthly membership fee but includes almost all classes. Excluded are the KidStop After school program, summer camps, and special training programs such as Lifeguard training and Water Safety Instruction (WSI).  It DOES include all swimming lessons, fitness classes on land and in the water, all youth sports programs, pizza pool parties, and self-defense classes. Once you sign up for Member Plus, you must keep it a minimum of 6 months. You still need to sign up during registration just like everyone else, but you simply put a + in the dollar box. No need for the check book.
